2025 Summer In-Person Workshops

This summer, we partnered with local libraries to run electricity workshops where we taught our students the basics of electronics through various fun and interactive projects. All electronics supplies (breadboards, wires, LEDs, safety goggles) were supplied by STEMpowering, funded by our sponsors. Through these workshops, our students learned the basics of voltage, current, and resistance; the importance of electronics in everyday lives; how breadboards and circuits work; and of course, building projects using capacitors, buttons, potentiometers, and various other fun components!
