2025 Summer In-Person Workshops
This summer, we are partnering with local libraries to run electricity workshops where children learn the basics of electronics, building projects as they go. All electronics supplies (breadboards, wires, LEDs, safety goggles) are supplied by STEMpowering. Through these workshops, our students learn the basics of voltage, current, and resistance; the importance of electronics in everyday lives; how breadboards and circuits work; and of course, building projects using capacitors, buttons, potentiometers, and various other fun components!
So far we've partnered with the Rockaway Township Library for our first workshop with more coming soon! See images from our workshop below.
